TR Builds Bricks Kits
After graduating with my design degree in 2024 I wanted to create my own block building kit for Seattle landmarks. I have lived in Seattle for most of my life and thought that making kits of the popular and well known landmarks would be a fun design challenge. The first 2 kits that I decided would be a good starting point were the iconic Washington Ferry and the Orcas that normally swim through the Puget Sound. Both models were designed digitally and then physically tested with Lego bricks and shown to possible store owners to have them on sale. I worked with Edgar Velazco to design the boxes. This process included creating info on the back of the box, branding for the box, rendering the model and creating a design language for the wave of models as more get added. The newest one added is the Fremont Troll which is a large cement statue under a bridge.
